BLIA YAD Los Angeles I, II, and Three Acts of Goodness Club of University of the West participated in “Total Merits Transfer Dharma Service for Ceasing the COVID-19 Epidemic” at Fo Guang Shan Hsi Lai Temple.
YAD members have recited nearly 1,300 times of Heart Sutra. They also removed the lanterns they decorated in Chinese New Year at two of the grass lawns in the afternoon. Their decoration has earned the opportunity to develop good affinities with thousands of people every day.
“New Year Festival of Light and Peace” which lasted for a month was over. YAD members assisted to put everything back to where it used to be, allowing visitors to experience the purity and solemnity of the Buddhist Monastery as well as to cultivate merit and wisdom simultaneously by a day of diligence.
